Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy, QuickBooks connection Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. About this connection

This privacy policy covers the application that Map Leads Media uses to connect to QuickBooks Online. The application automatically creates estimates in QuickBooks Online, based on data already captured earlier in the existing process. Map Leads Media is the data controller for the data processed through this connection.

2. What data is processed

Through the connection with QuickBooks Online, the following data is read and written:

• Customer data: name and email address, to recognize or create a customer in QuickBooks

• Estimate data: the services, quantities, and amounts needed to create an estimate

No data is collected beyond what is needed to create an estimate.

3. Why this data is processed

The data is used solely to automatically prepare an estimate in QuickBooks Online, replacing the manual re-entry of that same data. The legal basis for this is performance of the contract with Map Leads Media's customer, and the legitimate interest in keeping that process efficient and error-free.

4. Retention period

This application does not keep a separate copy of the data beyond what is needed to make the connection work at the moment it runs. After that, the data remains in QuickBooks Online, subject to that system's own retention periods.

5. Who data is shared with

Data is exchanged only with Intuit QuickBooks Online, as needed to make the connection work. No data is sold or shared with any other third party.

6. Security

The connection to QuickBooks Online runs over OAuth2, Intuit's own security standard. Access to the connection is limited to authorized staff of Map Leads Media.

7. Rights

For questions about this processing, or to exercise your right of access, correction, or deletion, contact derrick@mapleads.media. This application's access to QuickBooks Online can also be revoked at any time directly from your own QuickBooks settings (app management).

8. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
